APPROVED!

Ecc. 9:7

Do you believe that your heavenly Father is pleased with you? Do you walk in peace knowing that you have His approval? If you believe in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, and He dwells within, then you are APPROVED!

So, if you ever feel damaged or unworthy, remember you are in good company. God has a history of using the least candidates to achieve the greatest feats. Trust in His plan and allow His grace to work through you. Your brokenness can be a powerful testimony of redemption, healing, and hope. Know this: you have been approved by His eyes!

THE DENIAL

Mark 14:66

Peter serves as a warning to all of us. He was an apostle who walked with Christ and denied his LORD. What might we do in similar circumstances?

How many times have we denied the LORD and lost opportunities to share the gospel with others? Do we, like Peter, talk when we should listen? Do we argue about when we should obey? Do we sleep when we should pray? Do we fight when we should submit?

The Bible says, “Let a man examine himself.” 1 Cor. 11:28. Where do you stand when sharing “the good news”?

GOD’S SECURITY Psalm 91

God is a shelter, a refuge when we are afraid. This should be a picture of our trust. We trade all our fears for faith in Him, no matter how intense our fears are.

To do this, we must “dwell” and “rest” with Him. We entrust ourselves to His protection. We pledge our daily devotion to Him. In doing so, we will be kept safe beneath His wings.

The most important part of a believer’s life is the part that only God sees. This is the “hidden life” of communion and worship, symbolized by the Most Holy Place. God is our refuge and strength, our joy in the time of sorrow.

In the 4th verse, He informs us. It is just as a mother hen hides her chicks under her wings in times of danger. In the same way, our Heavenly Father shall shelter us in times of storms.

When we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we are not alone, for God is with us. He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us, and He compensates for our inadequacies. Thus, we need not be afraid of the “terror by night”.

Remember this: the word “fear” stands for “false evidence appearing real.” We must put our trust in God. Knowing that our God watches over us even in times of great stress provides comfort beyond measure.

YOU ARE NOT BEYOND GOD’S REACH

“You are not beyond God’s reach” conveys a powerful idea. It means that no matter what you’ve done, you are never too far gone for God’s love.

No matter where you are, you can still receive God’s grace. Even if you feel far from spirituality or redemption, God’s love remains with you.

It underscores the belief that God’s compassion and forgiveness are boundless. It also suggests that He can reach anyone, anywhere, anytime.

This message often brings comfort, hope, and encouragement. It reaches those who feel lost or disconnected. It reminds them that they are always within God’s care and concern.

KEEP TRUSTING GOD

So, you feel like your back is up against the wall, and there is no way out!

Recall the story in the Bible of a man named Job. If you do, you will read in Chapter 1 how wealthy he is. Then, in Chapter 2, you will read how Job lost everything. Well, just like that, Job lost his wealth, his children, and his health. But did Job give in? No. Did Job give out? No. Job kept his faith in God.

In Chapters 3 to 41, Job truly endured the test of a lifetime, yet he continued to trust in God.

At the time, Job did not know that he would get it all back, including some.

So, when you feel like it’s dark and there is no clear view, stop looking around and look up. Do not let go of your faith; God has you. Keep trusting God!

USE YOUR GIFTS IN MINISTRY TO OTHERS

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call]. Ro 11:29 AMP

As a Christian, you have a responsibility to help your brother who has stumbled or fallen into sin.

Approach the situation with kindness and compassion, not judgment or condemnation.

As we are our brother’s keeper.

THE VALUE OF ONE LOST SHEEP

God is described as One who picks up an individual lamb to protect and carry it close to His heart.

God is all-powerful. The nations are as dust before Him. Yet, He still cares for each of His own personally.

We must never think that God is so majestic that He ignores the needs and problems of the individual believer.

PASS IT ON TO OTHERS

2 Tim. 2:2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

In this verse, the Apostle Paul writes to Timothy, a young leader in the early Christian church. Paul emphasizes the importance of passing on the teachings and wisdom he has received.

He instructs Timothy to entrust these teachings to reliable and faithful individuals. These individuals will be able to teach others. This creates a discipleship chain and ensures that the gospel message continues to be spread effectively.

The verse highlights the importance of mentorship, leadership, and the perpetuation of sound doctrine within the Christian community.

AT THE CROSSROADS

Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it;” Jeremiah 6:16

The right path for living is ancient and has been marked out by God. But the people refused to take God’s path, going their way instead.

We face the same decision today: follow God’s old but true path or pursue a path of our own choosing. Don’t be misled. The only way to find peace and “rest for your souls” is to follow God’s path.

HELD IN HIS HAND

Psalm 121:5—8

“The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade upon your right hand. The Sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forevermore.”

This Psalm gave the people hope and courage to calm their fears.

Trust in the LORD. He said in His Word that He shall keep you. He will do so with the right hand of His righteousness.
